First made in the 1920s, Chief Joseph is one of our oldest ongoing designs. The pattern celebrates the heroism of the Northwest's great Nez Perce leader, Chief Joseph. Chief Joseph commemorates one of the Northwest's greatest Nez Perce warriors. In honor of his bravery, Pendleton donates a portion of the sales from all Chief Joseph products to nonprofit organizations that facilitate medical careers for Native students, and the preservation of Native languages.
